Jamaica Stock Exchange terminates dealer agreement with SSL

Embattled investment firm, Stocks and Securities Limited (SSL) can no longer trade in securities listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange, JSE.

The Exchange, is advising that effective immediately it has terminated its member dealers agreement with SSL.

In a release late Friday, the JSE said that consequently, SSL will no longer be allowed to trade on the Exchange.

This means that all investors who normally do business with the JSE using SSL as a dealer, can no longer do so.

The JSE said all account holders in SSL will be further advised concerning their accounts.
