Jamaican stars Romelda Aiken-George and Shamera Sterling-Humphrey combined on opposite ends of the court to power reigning champions Adelaide Thunderbirds to a 73-58 win over leaders Melbourne Vixens in the Australian Super Netball Championship.
In a top-of-the-table clash, Aiken-George scored 47 goals from 53 attempts while Sterling-Humphrey led a superb backcourt display with three interceptions and seven deflections.
There was a third Jamaican in the game with Latanya Wilson suiting up for the Thunderbirds, who , took control with a 17-10 blowout in the second quarter.
The West Coast Fever led by national captain Jhaniele Fowler, defeated Giants Netball 68-65.
Fowler who poured in 55 from 56 attempts.
Fever also boasted Jamaican defender Kadie-Ann Dehaney and her international teammate, shooter Shanice Beckford, in their lineup.
The Giants had in their ranks Jamaican defender Jodi-Ann Ward.
