The 2025 edition of annual reggae festival, Rebel Salute, will have Supreme Ventures onboard as sponsors for the very first time.

The partnership was officially unveiled on December 19 during a launch event held at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel, where cultural icons, industry stakeholders, and reggae enthusiasts gathered to honour the festival’s rich heritage and bright future.

Stefan Miller, SVP product management and business development at Supreme Ventures, expressed the company’s excitement during the launch event.

“Supreme Ventures is honoured to align with Rebel Salute, a festival that represents the pinnacle of Jamaican cultural expression. As a home-grown company, we recognise the value of preserving and elevating our cultural heritage, and Rebel Salute is the perfect partner in this mission,” said Miller.

“Rebel Salute is more than entertainment; it’s a celebration of Jamaican identity. With our Supreme Ventures Fintech services, we’re thrilled to connect with the diaspora who travel far and wide for this homecoming event,” he noted.

Tony Rebel, founder and visionary behind the festival, applauded Supreme Ventures for their support. “This partnership represents a shared vision of showcasing the best of Jamaica to the world,” Rebel stated.

Scheduled for January 18 at the picturesque Plantation Cove in Priory, St. Ann, Rebel Salute the largest showcase of roots reggae and culturally-themed dancehall returns in 2025 to the festival’s original staging for one night only.

After a successful 30th anniversary celebration in 2024, Managing Director, Jahyudah Barrett shared that Rebel Salute 2025 is the start of the next 30 year journey.

“The festival has undergone several adjustments over its previous 30 years and the return to one-night-only for 2025 is a restructuring strategy,” Barrett stated.

Listed as one of the top four festivals to attend in the Caribbean by Billboard Magazine, it will feature an impressive line-up of reggae stalwarts and rising stars. Tony Rebel and the Organic Heart team announced what they dubbed the Sensational Six which includes Maxi Priest, Tony Rebel, Luciano, Queen Ifrica, Raheem Bowes and Richie Spice ahead of the festival’s launch. The line-up for Rebel Salute’s One Epic Night will also see The Rebel Clan, General Degree, Dawn Penn, Valiant and others.

The launch event previewed what is to come, featuring an acoustic performance that embodied the festival’s theme of preservation through innovation. Guests left inspired by the festival’s dedication to maintaining its roots while evolving for future generations.

The additional features of the Food Village, Arts Village and Herb Curb continue to contribute to the holistic presentation of Rebel Salute as more than an event but as a lifestyle.
