Amazon Warriors Beat Royals by 47 Runs

Guyana Amazon Warriors beat Barbados Royals by 47 runs at Providence in Guyana to move into second place in the Caribbean Premier League.

Shai Hope, 71, and Shimron Hetmyer, 57, put on 106 runs for the third wicket to steer the Warriors to 219 for 8 in their 20 overs.

Maheesh Theekshana ended with 3 for 15.

The total proved too much for the Royals who were restricted to 172 for 9.
