Arnett Gardens, Racing United Play to Draw in JPL Classic

Former champions Arnett Gardens and promoted Racing United produced a Wray and Nephew/Jamaica Premier League classic at the Tony Spaulding Complex on Monday night to bring match day 29 to a thrilling climax.

In the end the teams shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw.

Tajay Grant and Jevoun Bascoe with a goal of the season candidate scored for Racing.

While Warner Brown bagged a league leading 17th of the campaign and Shai Smith netted a late equaliser to earn Arnett a point that keeps them ten behind leaders Mount Pleasant Academy.

Racing remain seventh on goal difference behind Waterhouse.

In the earlier game Montego Bay United beat Chapelton Maroons 1-0 on a Shaniel Thomas goal to close the gap on second placed Arnett Gardens.
