Arnett Gardens, fresh from success in the Shield Competition, will come face-to-face with Mount Pleasant Academy in the Caribbean Football Union Club Championship at Sabina Park at 5 pm this afternoon.
This will be Arnett’s first game in this year’s competition while Mount Pleasant will be playing their second game in eight days after losing 2-0 to national champions Cavalier in their opening game last week.
In the aftermath of that defeat the Mount Pleasant ownership fired the entire coaching staff one game into their reign.
Former national coach Theodore Whitmore has been brought back to take charge of the club that he led to the national title in 2022/23 season.
