Arsenal will be hoping to return to the English Premier League summit when they host relegation-threatened Luton Town at Emirates Stadium, this afternoon at 2:30.

Mikel Arteta’s side will have the chance to place some early pressure on leaders Liverpool, who face Sheffield United at Anfield on Thursday, after relinquishing top spot to Jurgen Klopp’s Reds following a goalless draw at title rivals Manchester City on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Manchester City welcome Aston Villa to the Etihad for another blockbuster Premier League clash.

Pep Guardiola’s side are in a fierce title race with Liverpool and Arsenal.

They are three points behind leaders Liverpool with nine games of the season remaining.

In the other fixtures, Brentford are at home to Brighton.

Meanwhile, in local women’s action, Frasziers Whip striker, Shaniel Buckley, will seek to improve her goal tally when her team battles Proven Girls in the Jamaica Women’s Premier League, at Royal Lakes Sports Complex, this afternoon at 3:30.

Buckley leads the race for the golden boot with 11-goals, one more than Shanhaine Nelson of Cavalier.
