Coach of Jamaica’s senior men’s football team, Steve McClaren, says he expects no excuses when his team battle Nicaragua in a top of the table group B clash of the Concacaf Nations League in Managua, Thursday night.
The team staged a lengthy training session Wednesday night at the match venue and got a good feel of the artificial surface on which the game will be played.
However, McLaren, while acknowledging that the surf could have some bearing on how the team plays, is in no mood to accept anything but a top level performance and ultimately all three points.

Meanwhile, Reggae Boyz defender, Damion Lowe, says the players are in high spirits ahead of the match.
