The Barbados Royals maintained their 100 per cent win record beating the Guyana Amazon Warriors by 17-runs in the Massy T20 Women’s Caribbean Premier League at the Brian Lara Stadium, on Monday.
Batting first, the Royals made 101 for 8 off their 20 overs.
Captain Hayley Matthews failed to spark with the bat, scoring two from 13 deliveries, while Qiana Joseph and Aaliyah Alleyna made 18 each.
Erin Burns picked up three wickets.
In reply, the Amazon Warriors made 84 for 9 off their 20 overs.
Natasha McLean made 20 and Burns 18. Matthews finished with 4 for 14.
