BPO Industry Facing Entry Level Recruitment Crisis

Director of the Global Services Association of Jamaica, GSAJ, Gloria Henry, says firms in the business process outsourcing, BPO, industry are facing challenges recruiting employees at the entry level.

Miss Henry was speaking with journalists at the GSJ’s annual general meeting on Monday at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in New Kingston.

Miss Henry says many people who would ordinarily seek jobs in the BPO industry, especially those who are recent high school graduates, have multiple options in this low unemployment environment.
