The 36th Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championship is the first local event to be affected by the passage of category-4 hurricane Beryl.
The 6-day championships was set to tee off today at the Caymanas Golf Course.
However, the championships was postponed and a date of August 5-9 proposed.
President of the Jamaica Golf Association, Jodi Munn-Barrow, says they are extremely disappointed that they were forced to postponed the tournament.
