Celtics Survive 43 Point Giannis Onslaught to Beat Bucks

Champions the Boston Celtics survived a monster game from the “Greek Freak” Giannis Antetokounmpo to beat the Milwaukee Bucks 113-107 in the NBA on Sunday.

Antetokounmpo soared for 43 points and pulled down 13 boards, but he could not take the Bucks over the line in an exciting encounter in which Jason Tatum starred for Boston with 31 points and 12 rebounds.

The New York Knicks were beaten by 132-121 by the Indiana Pacers while the Orlando Magic got the better of the Washington Wizards 121-94.

In other games the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Toronto Raptors 123-103, while the Memphis Grizzlies ran past the Portland Trailblazers134-89. Over in Denver, the Nuggets on the back of a monster triple double from Nikola Jokic, were better than the Dallas Mavericks 122-120.

The Miami Heat got the better of Minnesota Timberwolves 95-94, the Golden State Warriors beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 127-116 and the Philadelphia 76ers edged the Charlotte Hornets 107-105.

Meanwhile, Alperen Sengun scored 27 points for Houston in a 101/99 win over the Detroit Piston and the Sacramento Kings turned back the Phoenix Suns 127-110.
