National coach, Kafia Rapley, agrees that Jamaica’s swimmers will do something special at the Carifta Championships in the Bahamas, from March 28 to April 7.
The Aquatic Sports Association, ASAJ, ratified a 26 member team to represent the country during the Easter weekend.
Rapley anticipates that several of the swimmers will make it to the podium.
It will cost 13 million dollars for Jamaica’s swimmers to travel to the Bahamas and compete.
Rapley is encouraging corporate Jamaica and the government to partner with the ASAJ.
