Guyanese reggae and dancehall artiste Comet plans to unite the world with his music, hence the reason why he only records songs that carry positive messages.

"I am fully aware that as an artiste, it is my duty to uplift, inspire and unite the masses with the music that the Most High has blessed me to create. I pray that as I continue on this journey I will never forget my mission," he said.

The singer, songwriter, and producer who names Dennis Brown, Burning Spear, Gregory Isaacs, Michael Jackson and Phil Collins among his musical influences, said that he was born to be an artiste.

"From as early as I can recall, I have had a very strong love for music. It all began at the age of three, when my uncle gave me a guitar. From that point onwards, my love for music just kept growing. While growing up, my mind was like a recording studio, as I soaked up all the different genres of music I was hearing around me. I was also hearing melodies in my head, and I also started composing songs in my mind," said Comet.

He is preparing a new single titled Come Along, which he produced on his Ready Now Entertainment imprint.

"I have been getting a lot of positive feedback from my colleagues in the music industry about it. I am confident that it will be well received by music lovers worldwide," he said.

Comet, given name Samuel McIntosh, was born in Linden, Guyana, but currently resides in California, USA. He launched his recording career in 2008.
