Concacaf President Victor Montagliani has welcomed the news that Jamaica’s National Stadium is to be renovated and brought up to international standards.
Sports Minister Olivia Grange made the announcement yesterday about the U.S 100 Million Dollar renovation of the country’s premier sporting facility which is due to start in August of next year.
Speaking at a press conference at the Jamaica Pegasus today, Montagliani says the news was like music to his ears as he believes a country with Jamaica’s sporting history deserves a first class facility.
Montagliani says he has already told the powers that be, that Concacaf stands ready to offer whatever assistance they can.

Montagliani is currently on the island on a one day working visit during which he met with Sports Minister Olivia Grange, toured the JFF Technical Centre and took questions from the media at a press conference.
