Copa America: Colombia Wins Group With Brazil Draw; Both Advance

Nine time champions Brazil and Colombia played out a 1-1 draw at the Copa America tournament in California on Tuesday.

The Brazilians had to settle for second in their group with Colombia advancing as group winners.

Raphina gave Brazil the lead but Daniel Munoz equalised on the stroke of half time for Colombia.

In the last preliminary game of the tournament, Costa Rica beat Paraguay 2-1 to finish third in the group.

Brazil will now face Uruguay in the last eight while Colombia tackles Panama.

Champions Argentina are up against Ecuador and Venezuela tackle Canada in the other quarterfinal ties.
