Mother-son duo, dancehall artiste D'Angel and her son Marco Dean Davis are now the faces of Inflatable Jamaica Tours - the "Caribbean's biggest touring inflatable theme park".
D'Angel told THE WEEKEND STAR that they secured this deal based on their inseparable bond that the company noticed.
"They thought we'd be the perfect ambassadors so they reached out to us because that's the kinda energy they want the company to represent - family," she said. "It's a good venture and we're happy to be a part of this."
The new ambassadors were seen in a recent commercial for Inflatable JA Tours, showcasing the companies' various attractions and areas of entertainment. The mother and son also penned and sang the jingle.
Marco Dean, a 17-year old Hydel High School student, said he's "grateful" for the opportunity and is inspired by this commercial to further explore his passion in the arts.
"It's a very amazing experience and I feel very involved in the big things that my mommy is doing. It makes me feel more special. It allows me to meet a lot of amazing, hard-working people and I'm so grateful. Even being in the commercial, I never saw it as supmn I'd ever do because I don't always like being on camera. But now I'm bettering everything and more conscious of my surroundings and who I'm around," Marco Dean said.
He added, "When it comes to me being a part of something so big, such a big company with such a big name, it makes me feel real important. This will definitely see my mom and I making more videos because I really enjoy working with my mother. She's a very fun person to work with and wi see us doing bigger and better work like this in the future."
Inflatable JA is the second major commercial for Marco Dean, after scoring his first with MegaMart at age six. The signing of this partnership will see the two travelling the Caribbean with the company.
"We're just getting started. It's just the time now and I never had to force him into anything. He's ready, he's happy. I let him grow and I allow him to be himself and his own leader. I support him in everything. He's multi-talented, so we have to build and nurture that talent," D'Angel added.
