Board chairman of Dolphin Cove, Stafford Burrowes, has stepped down from his post at the Jamaican attraction he founded in 2001.
The move took effect on December 3.
The company says it served notice on Mr Burrowes to vacate the post, following his sale of the majority interest he held in the company.
He reportedly sold his shares to an entity affiliated to the Dolphin Company.
The company says the move is in accordance with its Articles of Incorporation pertaining to a member holding not less than 51 per cent of issued shares.
A new chairman from the remaining directors is expected to be announced in the coming days.
