West Indies players Deandra Dottin and Afy Fletcher have named in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Team of the Tournament.
The 33-year-old Dottin, who came out of retirement three months before the T20 World Cup, showed her brute force by hitting a tournament-high nine sixes.
She ended with 120 runs from five innings at an average of 40 and an impressive strike rate of 162.16.
Dottin also took five wickets, including four for 22 against New Zealand, at an average of 7.60 and an economy rate of 5.42.
Fletcher, meanwhile, ended the World Cup with 10 wickets from her five matches at an average of 11.50 and an economy rate of 6.38.
The 37-year-old leg-spinner took two crucial three-wicket hauls against Scotland and England.
Despite losing in the final, South African skipper Laura Wolvaardt was named captain of the Team of the Tournament, which also includes her opening partner Tazmin Brits and spinner Non-kululeko Mlaba.
New world champions New Zealand also boasts three players, including Amelia Kerr, Rosemary Mair and Eden Carson.
