Investigations are continuing into the killing of a doubles vendor who was shot dead in St. Helena, early on Thursday morning.
According to a police report, Shaquille Quamie, a vendor on Laundry Road, was fatally stabbed around 4 am while preparing his vehicle for work.
Quamie was packing his products when unknown assailants attacked him. His brother discovered him dead.
At the time of publishing this report, the motive for the attack was unclear.
As investigations continue, the authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in solving the case.

The deceased has been identified as Dwayne Marshall.
