Tanya Stephens is encouraging members of the entertainment industry to attend the media launch of the Jamaica Entertainers and Creatives Insurance Plan.
With a simple repost, the “It’s A Pity” hitmaker is urging her fellow entertainers and creatives to show up and make their voices heard at this significant event for the industry.
The media launch is set for 6 p.m. tomorrow (Nov 12) at 4-6 Trafalgar Road, Kingston 5.
Last Friday, Music News reported that Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment, and Sport, Olivia Grange, announced plans to launch life and health insurance policies tailored for the entertainment sector.
According to Minister Grange, the policies will cover nearly all medical needs for industry professionals—from performers to behind-the-scenes crew members.
Industry members are encouraged to complete a one-time sign-up on the Ministry’s website to verify their status.
