Deputy Mayor and Councillor at the Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation, the JLP’s Delroy WIlliams, is calling for a thorough investigation and audit following the serious allegations of cash disbursements for partisan purposes.

Speaking with Nationwide News on Friday, Mr. Williams says the JLP caucus will leave no stone unturned in pursuing the truth.

The Deputy Mayor says these reports, if true, raise serious concerns regarding the stewardship and fiscal integrity of the Andrew Swaby-led municipality.

He says it concerns the country that less than a year into the stewardship of the PNP at the KSAMC, the integrity of the Council has been called into question regarding political nepotism for the second time in two months.

Councillor Williams says while they understand that the allegations are the subject of investigations, the JLP caucus has an obligation to demand answers of the Chairman.
