The top four ladies in the 45th All Jamaica Senior Squash Championships made light work of their competitors, to win their matches and move on to the semi-finals, at the Liguanea Club.
Defending champion Mary Mahfood needed just 11 minutes to defeat Loya Fong Yee in straight sets after posting scores of 11/2, 11/1, 11/2.

The number two seed and the junior champion Mehar Trehan, defeated Nathlee Boreland in straight sets with scores of 12/10, 11/0, 11/3.
Catherine Risden who is seeded at number three was challenged by Kerry-Gay Wright who went down in straight sets.
The scores in that match were 11/2, 11/8, 11/8.
Sanjana Nallapati, seeded at number four, defeated Noelle Nicolls 11/1, 11/3, 11/4.
Perhaps the game of the championship so far was played between the men’s number three seed Tahjia Lumley and Adam Ardito.
That match lasted 44 minutes and 31 seconds, which is the longest match of the championship to date.
Lumley won the first game 11/8, but Ardito turned the tables on him to take the second game 11/6.
They battled the next two games but Lumley came out the winner in 11/4 and 11/2.
