Fifteen finalists vie for National Junior Calypso Monarch

Fifteen young calypsonians will compete in the National Junior Calypso Monarch Finals on February 24 at 10:00 AM at the Grandstand, Queen’s Park Savannah. The finalists will go up against reigning Junior Calypso Monarch, Nataki Thompson, for the title.

The finalists are:

  1. Alaeja Gould Ferguson – Bishop Anstey High School
  2. Chelsea Figueroa – St. Francois Girls’ College
  3. Clorysa Gill – University of the West Indies
  4. D’Ashe Saul – Bishop’s High School
  5. Janaya Clarke – San Fernando Girls’ Anglican School
  6. Jariah July Nelson – St. James Secondary School
  7. Jimecya Burnett – New Butler Associate College
  8. Josiah Eli Ferrier – Presentation College, San Fernando
  9. Khalea Alfred – Bishop’s High School, Tobago
  10. Koquice Davidson – Bishop’s High School, Tobago
  11. Nyah Arnold – Signal Hill Government Primary School
  12. Raylan Green – The Anthenian Presecondary School
  13. Tsiaiann Burke – Holy Faith Convent, Couva
  14. Xhaiden Darius – Savonetta Private School
  15. Zachary Ransome – Montrose Government Primary School
