Government senator, Abka Fitz-Henley, says the reasoning given by Opposition leader, Mark Golding, for his decision to renounce his British citizenship, is an insult to the Jamaican people.
Mr. Golding told a recent meeting of his party’s National Executive Council, that he intends to renounce his dual citizenship, as it is a potential obstacle that could prevent the PNP from winning the next general election.
Senator Fitz-Henley says the rationale is unacceptable.
