Former St George’s College forward, Romario Harding, was named in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference, KCAC, team of the year for the 2024 season on Saturday.
The college senior who plays his football at the University of St Mary, in Missouri, Kansas, is being named in the conference team for the second year in a row.
Harding credits his teammates for giving him the platform to thrive in what he describes as a tough conference.
Harding’s University of St Mary teammate Daniel Castro has also been named in the conference team.
Harding, who’ll be graduating in December, finished his senior season with 10 goals and four assists in ten regular season games, to help guide St Mary to the conference play-offs.

Reflecting on his college career, Harding says he’s proud to have been part of the team that made school history.

St Mary plays in Division 1 of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, which is comparable to Division II in the NCAA.
The Parade Gardens, Central Kingston native, played for Central FC in the Major League in Jamaica, before heading off to Trinidad State Community College in Denver, Colorado.
The 24-year-old Harding transferred to St Mary in 2022, where he was named the KCAC Men’s Newcomer of the Year.
