The 2022/23 Jamaica Women’s Premier League champions Frazsiers Whip will be the country’s representative in the inaugural Concacaf Champions Cup.

Frazsiers Whip is among 11 teams that will participate in the tournament and the only one from the Caribbean.

The tournament includes a Preliminary Round, followed by a Group Stage and a centralised Final Four.

Canada, Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Panama will each have one team in the competition.

Meanwhile, Mexico and USA will each have three teams in the tournament.

The competition will crown the region’s women’s club champions.

It is also the sole path through which clubs in Concacaf can qualify for the new FIFA Women’s Club World Cup, which FIFA has committed to launching in the near future.
