Golding Again Criticising Gov’t Over Economic Growth

Opposition Leader Mark Golding is again criticising the performance of the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation, led by Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness.

According to Golding, the country has failed to register meaningful growth.

The economy contracted by 3.5 per cent for the July to September quarter of 2024. That followed a flat 0.2 per cent growth in the previous quarter.

However, the final figures for the economy’s overall performance for the 2024 calendar year have not yet been released.
