Opposition Leader Mark Golding says none of the 22 parliamentarians representing the People’s National Party is being investigated for alleged illicit enrichment.
In its 2023-24 annual report tabled in Parliament in Tuesday, the Integrity Commission, IC, said two parliamentarians were referred for the alleged breach in the reporting year.
The two are in addition to the six reported in the previous report, for 2022-23.
In a statement to the media Wednesday night, Golding said he has consulted with all Opposition MPs and Senators, and they have all confirmed they are unaware of any such investigation in their name.
Mr Golding says he took similar action last year when the first set of six was reported.
He says the PNP remains committed to cooperating fully with the IC and supporting its mission to ensure integrity in public life.
