Good Governance Must Be Observed in Gov’t Appointments – JFJ

Executive director of Jamaicans for Justice, JFJ, Mickel Jackson, says the principles of good governance must be at play where the appointment of individuals to key positions in government is concerned.

She was asked by our news centre to react to the claims by Lawrence Rowe that he was promised appointment to the senate, should the People’s National Party win the next general election.

Jackson says it’s never in the country’s best interest, for transparency and ethics to be ignored in favour of partisan political considerations.
