National champion Natoya Goule Toppin was a third place finisher in the 800 metres at the inaugural Athlos women only track meet at the Icahn Stadium in New York on Thursday night.
Goule Topping collected US $10,000 for her effort.
Ethiopia’s Tsige Dugume collected the US $60,000 winners prize, claiming victory in 1:57.43.
The other Jamaican at the meet Danielle Williams, was fifth in the 100 metre hurdles in 12.56 seconds and pocketed US $5,000.
US sprinter Brittany Brown left the meet with US $85,000 for her day’s work after winning the 200 metres and finishing second in the 100 metres.
The six meet event was founded and organized by Alexis Ohanian, husband of tennis star Serena Williams.
