As the stand-off continues between the government and the opposition over the Integrity Commission’s report on the statutory declarations of Prime Minister Andrew Holness, government senator Abka Fitz-Henley has rubbished a claim by Opposition Leader Mark Golding that there will be no Parliamentary sitting on Tuesday, September 24.
Golding made the claim on his Instagram page on Sunday.
He suggested that the purported action was related to the IC report which was tabled in Parliament last Tuesday.
Fitz-Henley, who is also the Parliamentary Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, described Golding’s claim as mischievous.
