Prime Minister Andrew Holness says despite the bounce gained coming out of the February 26 local government elections, the Opposition People’s National Party is no match for his Jamaica Labour Party, JLP.
The prime minister was speaking at an Area Council meeting in St. Catherine on Sunday.
Prime Minister Holness says the Jamaican people sent a clear message to the JLP on local government election night.
That message, he says, is for the JLP administration to pay more attention to the issues affecting their choices at supermarkets and corner shops.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Holness says the JLP is now working to refresh the party’s brand and messaging.
