Reigning World 100 and 200 metres champion, Noah Lyles, says his loss to Oblique Seville has not altered his plans to sweep the gold medals in the sprints at the Paris Olympics.
Seville posted a personal and world leading 9.82 seconds to win the men’s 100-metres over race favourite Lyles 9.85 seconds. At the Racers Grand Prix, on June 1.
That defeat is the only blemish on the American’s career this season.
Speaking on USATF JTG Live, Lyes says he’ll be prepared this time around.
Lyles also reacted to Kishane Thompson’s 9.82 second clocking in the first round of the championships.
