INSPORTS Has New Board Chair

First Vice President of the JAAA, Ian Forbes, has been appointment chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Sports, INSPORTS.

Forbes who was acting chairman on the last board, is one of eight members from the last board who’ve been retained to serve a new two year term effective September 8.

The others are Ronald Anderson, Dr. Michelle Holt, Allan Beckford, Glen Nelson, Emile Spence, Shirley McLean Brown and Suzette Ison.

Four new members were appointed Deputy Chairman Howard Chambers, Julian Patrick, Florette Blackwood and George Ledgister who is an ex officio member.

Meanwhile Sports Minister Olivia Grange has also announced that Blackwood, Leslie Harrow and Newton Amos have been added to the Board of Directors of the Sports Development Foundation as of September 9, 2024 until the Board expires
in April 2026.

The SDF Board is chaired by Mr Leslie Campbell.
