Jada Kingdom has returned with a new music video, releasing the official visuals for her track Somebody Else on Monday.
Excepting her diss tracks aimed at Stefflon Don, Somebody Else marks Jada’s fourth solo release this year. Following the release of What’s Up, Top Tier, and Gen Z Jezebel earlier this year, Jada released the audio for Somebody Else earlier this month.
In Somebody Else, the singer takes a journey through the emotions of love, heartbreak, and moving on. The minimalist music video finds Jada enjoying life solo and with a small group of friends as she expresses how freeing it is to be away from her ex.
“You had too many months of draining me. It’s kinda hard to explain the things I’ve seen. Though if I know nothing else, I’m sure that distance is the only thing that keeps me free,” Jada sings in the track’s first verse.
In the single’s chorus, the singer happily declares that she has moved on with somebody else and suggests that her ex does the same.
More lyrics, “It’s too late to want me. I got my own somebody else. Got my own somebody. Got my own somebody else. Got my own somebody. Got my own somebody else. It’s too late to want me. Go find somebody else. Your own somebody.”
Somebody Else‘s music video has acquired over 7,000 views in less than two hours after its release.
The St. Thomas native is set to perform at Flippa Moggela’s Flossing Never Stop Party on November 2 in Philadelphia, United States.
