Reggae artiste Jah Kettle says he was pleased with his recently concluded Canada tour and is now excited to release a new single, titled Nothing Gonna Take Your Love Away, done with fellow reggae act Ras Penco.
"The fans were riveting and showed a lot of appreciation for my unique performance style," said the Jamaica-born singjay, who resides in Mississauga, Canada.
The tour, which ended in August, lasted for three months. It kicked off with the Bigger Problem lyricist performing at Tunnel Vision, a single-release party on June 1 in Ontario. He also made stops at The African Descent Festival, on August 10 and 11, held at English Bay Beach in Vancouver, British Columbia.
"It was electrifying," said Jah Kettle, born Peter Braimbridge. The tour was completed at the Afro-Caribbean Cultural Summerfest of Surrey outdoor festivals, which also featured Barbadian star Rupee, and Shurwayne Winchester out of Trinidad and Tobago.
"The joy you get to be able to show your musical craft while having fans dancing on their feet is priceless," Jah Kettle added.
The Trench Town native is confident that the collaboration with Ras Penco will be a hit.
"The vibration with Ras Penco was divine, so the people will feel that vibes when the song is out," he said.
