Florida-based, Jamaica-born recording artiste Jah Single has his eyes firmly placed on the international music scene.
"I want to touch the lives of millions of people worldwide with my music. I want to achieve the type of success that will enable me to help other artistes rise to the top. I also want to be able to help people outside the music industry through philanthropic work and investments," said the artiste.
The singjay, who hails from March Pen Road in Spanish Town, describes his musical style as a unique blend of reggae and dancehall fused with other genres, such as Afrobeats, hip-hop and R&B.
"I could have done just reggae and dancehall, but I want to make music that will resonate with an international audience," said Jah Single. He is currently promoting his new single titled Uber Boy, which is one of the featured tracks on his eight-track EP, In My Element, released in July.
"My new single is doing well. It's getting a lot of support from DJs in various parts of the world, including Jamaica, the US, Africa and Europe. It's also streaming well on YouTube and Spotify. I plan to boost its promotion by dropping a video later this month," he said.
Jah Single, given name Evroy Lawes, was born in Manchester, but he grew up in Spanish Town.
