Jamaica Beaten by 8-wickets in Regional U15 Championships

Trinidad and Tobago beat Jamaica by 8-wickets in the West Indies Rising Stars Under-15s Championship, at Coolidge Cricket Ground, today.

Batting first, Jamaica were bowled out for 101 inside 39 overs.

Captain Demario Hall top scored with 50 and Jaheim Frater made 19.

Zakariyya Mohammed took 4-wickets and Aaden Own 3 for T-and-T.

Chasing 102 to win Trinidad and Tobago reached the target in 19 overs.

Captain Zane Maraj led the batting with an unbeaten 32, while Sachin Nandlal made 29 not out.

Final Scores, Jamaica 101, Trinidad and Tobago 102 for 2.

Meanwhile, Parmeshwar Ram and Emmanuel each scored a half century to guide Guyana to a 147 runs win against the Leeward Islands at Liberta Sport Club.

Lewis and Ram scored 60 each in Guyana’s 258 for 8 in 50 overs.

In reply, the Leewards were bowled out for 111.

Tayari Tonge made 28.

And Barbados beat the Windward Islands by 192-runs, at Bethesda Sports Club.

The Bajans were bowled out for 297 with captain Damarko Wiggins made 62, Jahidi Hinds 84 and Justin Parris 58.

Earsinho Fontaine picked up 5-wickets.

In reply, the Windwards were bowled out for 105.

Jorden Charles made 32.

Javed Worrell bagged three wickets for Barbados.
