Jamaica crashed to their second straight defeat at the Copa America football tournament Wednesday night.
The Reggae Boyz were beaten 3-1 by Ecuador in their group B clash in Las Vegas and are now out of contention for a place in the knockout stage.
A Kasey Palmer own goal gave the South Americans the lead on 14 minutes before Kendry Paez pushed them further ahead on the stroke of half time.
Michail Antonio gave Jamaica a glimmer of hope nine minutes into the second half with the country’s first ever goal at the Copa America.
However, Ecuador scored a third in the 90+1 minute to secure all three points.
In the group’s other game Venezuela beat Mexico 1-0 to go top of the league and into the knockout stage of the competition.
