Jamaica Need 13 More Medals to Reach 100

Jamaica is fast closing in on a century of medals at the Olympic Games.

Since its first participation in the London games in 1948, Jamaica has gone on to win 87 medals, with their highest medal haul being 13, incidentally at the London games in 2012.

A repeat of that medal intake will take the country to triple figures, and manager of the team in Paris Ludlow Watts, says it would be a special achievement.

Meanwhile Watts would not be drawn on how many medals Jamaica will garner in Paris.

However, he expects if things go according to plan, then double digits will again be possible.
