Coach of the all-conquering Jamaica senior women’s cricket team, Shane Brooks, is crediting the determination and all-round ability of his players for their double success in the recent West Indies tournaments in St. Kitts.
Jamaica won both the 50-over and T20 Blaze titles, losing only to Guyana in the longer version and going unbeaten in the T20 Blaze.
Brooks told Nationwide Sport that the team deserved to be crowned champions in both competitions.
Brooks says he was also privileged to have a player like Stafanie Taylor as the team captain.
