Head coach of Racers Track Club, Glenn Mills, admits that the Paris Olympics was not very lucrative for team Jamaica.
Jamaica went into the Olympics with pundits making ambitious predictions of between nine and 14 medals.
However, in the end the country came away with six – a gold, three silvers and two bronze. Four of which came from the field event athletes.
Mills says winning six medals at the Olympics wasn’t an easy feat.
He says it’s now time for the various stakeholders to analyse what went wrong in Paris.
Mills says the sport will suffer if the Jamaica Olympic Association and the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association don’t work out their disagreement.
