Jamaicans are being invited to attend the third annual Digital Government Technology Showcase on March 13.
This highly anticipated event is slated for The Jamaica Pegasus hotel in New Kingston.
The e-Gov Jamaica Limited (e-Gov Jamaica)-hosted showcase will highlight the transformative role of technology in public-sector operations.
Chief Executive Officer, Anika Shuttleworth, is encouraging widespread participation in the event, which is open to the public.
It will feature live demonstrations of innovative digital services by various ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs), as well as cutting-edge solutions from technology vendors.
The event will also include a panel discussion on the topic ‘Digital Transformation Unlocked: Shaping Jamaica’s Tomorrow’.
Among the panellists are Information Commissioner, Celia Barclay; Chief Executive Officer, Symptai Consulting, Marlon Cooper; and Ms. Shuttleworth.
The day will conclude with a networking session and post-event reception, providing a valuable opportunity for stakeholders to explore further collaboration in advancing Jamaica’s digital transformation.
“Registration starts at 8:00 a.m., and we will go throughout the day until 5:00 p.m. or as long as you say when. You cannot afford to miss it. This event will highlight digital solutions designed to enhance the Government of Jamaica’s service to the people,” Ms. Shuttleworth told JIS News.
For those unable to attend in person, the event will be live streamed on e-Gov Jamaica’s Facebook, Instagram and YouTube platforms.
