JFF to Launch Inaugural JPL U17 Competition

The Jamaica Football Federation, JFF, is set to launch an under-17 men’s competition.

The inaugural staging of the competition is tentatively set to start on May 5.

President of the JFF, Michael Ricketts, says this competition will be contested by the clubs playing in the Jamaica Premier League.

However, Ricketts was quick to point out that it was not mandatory for the clubs to participate.

Ricketts says this competition will help to make Jamaica competitive at the youth level.
