A member of the Jamaica Labour Party’s, JLP, communications task force, Marlon Morgan, says consultations have begun to determine who should be the party’s candidate for West Central St. James in the next general elections.
The seat is currently held by legal and constitutional affairs minister, Marlene Malahoo Forte.
In September 2020, Malahoo-Forte beat the People’s National Party’s Dr. Andre Haughton.
When pressed by Cliff Hughes, Morgan said West Central St. James is among a number of JLP seats being reviewed.
