JLP to Bunting: Crime Would be Considerably Lower With Use of SOEs

The governing Jamaica Labour Party, JLP, has hit back at the claim made by opposition spokesman on national security, Senator Peter Bunting, about the failure of states of emergency as a crime fighting tool.

A member of the party’s communications task force, Marlon Morgan, made the argument on Nationwide This Morning on Tuesday.

Morgan says Bunting’s criticism of the performance of Dr. Horace Chang as national security minister lacks context.
