Consumers will eventually have to pay more for goods and services, if manufacturers have to fork out more for light bills from the Jamaica Public Service Company, JPS.
That’s the word from president of the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association, JMEA, Sydney Thwaites.
Speaking with Nationwide News on Sunday, Thwaites says that’s why he’s hopeful that the huge bills sent to some of his members for the July to August cycle, is simply a one-off event.
