Coach of Chapelton Maroons Bijon Thomas and coach of Racing United Anthony Patrick say avoiding relegation from the Jamaica Premier League will be their main objective for the 2024/25 season.
Chapelton and Racing were promoted to the country’s top league after qualifying through the Jamaica Football Championships.
Chapelton beat Racing 2-1 in the final.
Thomas says the team wants to do better than in their only previous appearance in the top flight in the 2022/23 season.
