Both games in the Monday night Wray and Nephew/Jamaica Premier League double header at the Tony Spaulding Complex ended in 1-1 scoreline.
In the first encounter Waterhouse came from behind to draw with Chapelton Maroons.
Levaughn Williams shot Chapelton ahead after eight minutes but Kimani Campbell earned Waterhouse a share of the points with a second half equaliser.
Waterhouse are now up to second in the standings behind Montego Bay United.
In the feature game Vere United got an early goal from Chevon Reid but Reynaldo Biggs scored late in the second half for Racing to snatch a point.
Vere are now seventh in the standings while Racing remain 12th.
